Jonathan started his insurance career as a captive agent for one of the largest carriers in the country, and quickly became one of their top producers. From the outside, the path was set: more rank, more bonuses, more of the same.
From the inside, something was missing. He kept watching neighbors get denied, overcharged, or shrugged off because they didn't fit the script. Real people with real situations, DUIs, lapses, hard-to-place homes, being told "no" by the only person they could call.
So he made the leap. He left a stable career, leaned into faith, and opened Garcia Agency Ltd Co with a single mission: be the agent he always wished his clients could call. Independent. Honest. Local. Loyal.
Today Garcia Agency serves thousands of families across the Upstate of South Carolina, and Jonathan still answers his own phone.

Kalil Garrett Sr. brings six years of high-performing automotive sales experience to Garcia Agency, where he built his reputation on consistency, hustle, and taking care of people the right way. In the automotive industry, Kalil regularly helped 25-30 clients per month, delivering at a high level while staying focused on relationships, follow-through, and trust.
Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Kalil is a proud Southside High School alumnus with deep roots in the community Garcia Agency serves. His background taught him how to listen closely, move with urgency, and make sure every client feels respected and informed before making an important decision.
Now stepping into the insurance industry, Kalil is bringing that same client-first mindset to local families and business owners. His goal is simple: help people feel confident about their coverage, understand their options, and know they have someone in their corner when it matters most.
